Calling all queer nerds, mutant lovers, and cinema enthusiasts—it’s time to rewatch the first X-Men movie through a whole new lens!
Beneath the superpowers and epic battles lies a story of otherness, exclusion, and identity—themes that hit close to home for many in the queer community. Before we dive into the film, we’ll kick things off with a short introduction on its queer subtext and social commentary—because let’s be real, the X-Mansion has always felt a little like a chosen family.
