This guided tour is offered free of charge as part of “Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz!” 2025 (25.04-27.04).
The Valleys Pétrusse and Alzette: A Path of Inspiration and Innovation
As part of LUGA 2025 - Luxembourg Urban Garden, embark on an immersive guided tour through the Pétrusse Valley in the Ville Haute district, and the Alzette Valley in the Grund district, under the theme “Making the Invisible Visible”.
This path invites you to rediscover a landscape in the process of ecological restoration – a place where water and vegetation are reclaiming their space and shaping a new natural balance. Let the sound of the stream guide you, observe the transformation of this protected environment, and enjoy a true oasis of peace.
Between past and future, the remnants of the fortress recall the site’s history, while innovative initiatives and landscape installations pave the way forward, addressing today’s major global challenges.
An inspiring journey to reflect, rediscover, and experience how nature and sustainable urban planning can come together to shape the cities of tomorrow.
This guided tour can be prolonged by an extension of one hour through the Pfaffenthal. For more information, please contact us by e-mail at [email protected].
