The Mullerthal region, Luxembourg's Little Switzerland
This area of almost primeval beauty is justly known as “Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland”. Rushing streams babble their way through narrow gorges, past bizarre rock formations and through dense woodland, emerging occasionally in verdant pastures.
The Nature & Geopark
12 municipalities have joined forces here to form the Mëllerdall Nature & Geopark. The region has been recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark since 2022 due to its scenic diversity and the special rocky landscape of the 200-million-year-old Luxembourg sandstone.
