Things to do in summer
A picnic in one of the city's many parks
If you are looking for some peace and quiet after a long walk in the city, we recommend you take advantage of the many green spaces around the city centre. Even on the hottest summer days, you will find a shady and peaceful place to rest or to recharge your batteries over a picnic.
We recommend the Municipal Park where you can relax in the middle of nature right next to the city centre, or the Parc de la Pétrusse located in a valley that separates the "Ville Haute" from the "Gare" district.
Theaterplage
During the summer months, the Place du Théâtre is transformed into a beach. A giant 350 m2 sandpit with deckchairs and beach umbrellas, a pétanque court and a colourful decoration invite you to relax, with your feet in the sand.
