Francesco Franchi

Ronan Bouroullec is a renowned French designer renowned for his innovative, minimalist approach. After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués and ENSAD, he made a name for himself in 1996 with his Soliflore vase, acquired by the Centre Pompidou, and exhibited at the Néotù gallery in 1997. His first collaborations with design brands, notably with Giulio Cappellini, won him awards such as the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris.

His designs, which combine elegance and functionality, cover a wide range of fields: furniture, lighting, interior design and public spaces. He has been working with his brother Erwan for almost 25 years, forming an influential design duo. At the same time, drawing, which he has practised since childhood, occupies a central place in his life. His graphic works can be found in prestigious collections such as those of the Smithsonian and the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2024, the Centre Pompidou devoted a solo exhibition to him.
