What spaces do literature, poetry, sound create? Which spaces open up only through disorientation? Where can utopias be located? This program listens to tales of intimacy, tenderness, lust and sensuality, isolation, loneliness and (sick) love where space and sound play a special role in this process. The films constantly disrupt expectations, (re-)invent new patterns and harmonies and testify to the potential of animation: to keep redefining itself by dissolving boundaries. With its sixth compilation Spaces Of Resonance, Tricky Women Tricky Realities presents eight films directed by women that highlight the sensitivity and passion of Austrian animation.
